U.S. Agency for International Development and Project WET International Foundation Developed a series of classroom instructional activites and a children's educational booklet on water, sanitation, hygiene, and health for distribution to schools throughout sub-Saharan Africa.
National Folk Festival, 2008 Developed an educational booklet about ecological roles and cultural uses of willows to accompany hands-on art and cultural activities for children and families.
Ho‘ike o Haleakala. Collaborated with Haleakala National Park, The Nature Conservancy, Hawai‘i Natural History Association, and Maui teachers and scientists to develop a 975-page supplemental high school science curriculum. Units blend science disciplines, resource management, traditional culture, and current issues. Design and layout work; consultation on planned CD-ROM, website, and future project activities.
Salish Kootenai College Development of classroom and field modules for a two-year business curriculum.
Coral Reefs Education Project Developed an introductory sampler of instructional activities for middle school and high school students. This is a collaborative project of the Project WET International Foundation and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
University of Montana graduate studies course Co-designed and conducted a semester-long graduate course for the University of Montana environmental studies program. The course paired students with residents of a nearby rural community to work on resource conservation-related projects. It included both classroom and field components.
